The Lapeer District Library has four Book Clubs that meet at various times throughout our branches. Each club has a list of the book titles they will be reading each month. Books will be available at the previous month’s meeting or stop into the branch to learn how to obtain the book.
LDL Book Clubs are open to all and new members are always welcome. For more information about a certain club see the drop down menu below or contact the branch holding the event.

The Metamora Book Club meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 1- 3 PM at the Metamora Branch. Registration is not required and new members are always welcome.
The deAngeli Book Club meets the 4th Friday of each month at 11:30 AM at the Marguerite deAngeli Branch Library. Registration is not required and new members are always welcome. The November and December meeting will take place on the third Friday of the month.

Book Club Discussion Kits
Want to start your own book club? Our Book Club Discussion Kits include a sign-out sheet, discussion and guideline sheets and ten copies of the book, with some kits including an extra large print copy.

The deAngeli Branch also has a small number of Junior Book Club Discussion Kits available in the Children's Department. Each kit includes a sign-out sheet, a discussion sheet, one foam cube, and ten copies of the book. Contact the deAngeli Branch for a list of available kits.
Book Club Discussion Kits each checkout for 6 weeks and can be renewed for two weeks as long at they are not requested by another patron. The person who checks out the book club kit is responsible for lost, missing or damaged items in the kit, including the bag.
