Kindergarten Readiness is a one-hour workshop for parents and caregivers with children 3-5 years old. We teach fun and re-creatable activities at home to help get your little one ready for kindergarten!

Storytime with Miss Kathy! All ages welcome, crafts best for preschool-elementary ages.

Music and playtime for little learners! Friday Friends can help children develop social skills by playing with their peers. Kids of all ages with an adult are welcome to join, but best for pre-school ages.

The Knitters Group meets at the Metamora Branch Library on Thursdays from 1-3pm in the meeting room. Participants are welcome to gather to knit or do other crafts that can be hand carried. No paints or other liquids allowed.

Storytime with Miss Kathy! Crafts are selected with preschoolers in mind, but kids of all ages and their families are welcome to join. Adult participation is required. AM and PM Family Storytimes will feature the same story and crafts. 

Child Tutoring: Tutoring is for elementary children between grades 1st through 4th who need assistance in reading and/or math. Kids will have one-to-one instruction with a trained tutor.

Learn about what you should do if you come across an injured or baby animal alone in the wild. Presented by members of Short's Fawn Rescue and Critter Crossing Rehabilitation. 

Writers Circle is a group of local writers who come together once a month to share new writings, get feedback and encouragement, and hopefully, direction as to possible publication. Our writers do fiction, plays, poetry and memoir.
