Storytime with Miss Kathy! All ages welcome, crafts best for preschool-elementary ages.

Music and playtime for little learners! Friday Friends can help children develop social skills by playing with their peers. Kids of all ages with an adult are welcome to join, but best for pre-school ages.

The Knitters Group meets at the Metamora Branch Library on Thursdays from 1-3pm in the meeting room. Participants are welcome to gather to knit or do other crafts that can be hand carried. No paints or other liquids allowed.

Join us for a hands-on demonstration of how to make maple syrup! Paul Hitch, a local Lapeer forager will tap the maple trees outside the deAngeli Branch and explain the process of making maple syrup. 

Storytime with Miss Kathy! Crafts are selected with preschoolers in mind, but kids of all ages and their families are welcome to join. Adult participation is required. AM and PM Family Storytimes will feature the same story and crafts. 

Need a quiet place to study? The deAngeli branch will be opening its meeting room for people needing a quiet place to work. No conference calls and headphones are required for audio/video media. Tables, power strips and Wi-Fi provided.

Child Tutoring: Tutoring is for elementary children between grades 1st through 4th who need assistance in reading and/or math. Kids will have one-to-one instruction with a trained tutor.

F.L.A.G. Family Learning & Games  hosted by the Family Literacy Center of Lapeer! Fun games for families with kids ages 5-12. Register Now! Space is limited!

TLC helps make the library a better place for teens. Meeting at the deAngeli Branch Library on the third Thursday of the month. Meetings take place in the fiction area on the second floor of the building.
